Parametric search is here! Excited about this since it's been the top request from early users. You can now filter capacitors by specification and explore DC bias, ripple current temperature rise, ESR, and impedance curves for the results.

Specify your operating voltage to auto-calculate DC bias capacitance retention. It shows up directly in the results table as a sortable column.

Curves are synced with the results table. As you sort by your favorite columns or flip through pages, the curves update automatically to match the table.

Merlin now has stock information for all of our supported manufactures. Also excited to be adding Taiyo Yuden as one of our supported manufacturers.

Pricing

We also have pricing information now available for Kemet, Kyocera AVX, and Taiyo Yuden. You'll be able to view the median price at QTY=1000 for components from these manufacturers. You can sort components by price by clicking on the column header, similar to the other tabular data for components.

Updated Tooltips

In the stock column, if you hover over the stock number you'll get a tooltip that takes you to the distribution inventory for the manufacturer.

Alternates Tool: Find Drop-in Capacitor Replacements

Find drop-in replacement capacitors ranked by DC bias performance. Input a part number and the tool will find top drop-in replacements that most closely meet the specs of the reference part ranked by DC bias derated capacitance. Alternates ranking by pricing and availability information in development.
